This role offers the opportunity to lead engineering delivery for critical Site Reliability initiatives within a fast-growing technology environment.

You will collaborate closely with product, engineering, quality, and UX stakeholders to translate complex requirements into impactful solutions.
The role requires a strong understanding of software development, cloud infrastructure, observability, and modern engineering practices.
You will help shape engineering processes, improve reliability standards, and foster a culture of continuous improvement across distributed teams.
The Engineering Manager will be responsible for driving technical execution, ensuring reliable delivery, and supporting engineering excellence across Site Reliability initiatives. The role requires balancing hands-on technical contribution with leadership responsibilities, while ensuring teams have the structure, tools, and direction needed to succeed.
- Own delivery and execution within Site Reliability Engineering tooling initiatives, ensuring projects align with technical strategy and business goals.
- Translate product requirements into structured technical plans, including EPICs, user stories, and actionable engineering tasks.
- Partner with Product Managers, engineers, QA teams, and UX stakeholders to define priorities, manage dependencies, and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Plan and organize engineering sprints, establish delivery milestones, track progress, and identify potential risks or blockers early.
- Monitor team velocity, optimize resource allocation, and ensure engineering capacity is aligned with business priorities.
- Promote strong engineering practices through design reviews, code reviews, technical guidance, and quality standards.
- Ensure owned services have appropriate monitoring, observability, SLIs, and SLOs in place to maintain reliability.
- Support incident management processes, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and lead blameless root cause analysis sessions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve operational processes, deployment practices, and continuous delivery capabilities.
- Mentor engineers, support career growth, provide feedback, and contribute to building a high-performing engineering culture.
The ideal candidate is an experienced engineering leader with a strong software development background, proven ability to manage teams, and expertise in delivering reliable technology solutions at scale.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineering, software development, or a similar technical role.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Node.js and/or Python.
- Minimum of 3 years of engineering leadership or team management experience.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies, sprint planning, backlog management, and delivery processes.
- Proven ability to break down complex technical requirements into structured engineering initiatives.
- Strong backend development experience, with frontend experience considered an advantage.
- Experience with project planning tools, engineering metrics, and monitoring platforms.
- Knowledge of cloud deployment practices, CI/CD pipelines, continuous deployment, and operational reliability principles.
- Ability to debug complex production issues and drive effective incident resolution.
- Strong understanding of observability, service health monitoring, and reliability engineering practices.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate clearly across technical and non-technical teams.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, adaptability, and decision-making skills.
- Experience mentoring engineers, conducting performance discussions, and fostering team development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
