This role offers the opportunity to lead the post-production of premium podcast and video content for fast-growing global brands. You will transform raw interviews and conversations into polished, engaging media designed to perform across platforms such as YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok. Working closely with content, production, and marketing teams, you'll shape compelling stories while maintaining exceptional production quality. The position blends creative storytelling with technical expertise, giving you ownership of editing workflows, content optimization, and visual consistency. As a Senior Podcast & Video Editor, you will oversee the complete post-production process for audio and video content while ensuring every asset meets high editorial and technical standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maximize audience engagement and continuously improve production workflows.
- Edit and produce high-quality long-form podcast episodes for both audio and video distribution.
- Create engaging short-form content optimized for YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and other digital platforms.
- Apply advanced post-production techniques, including multi-camera editing, sound design, color correction, motion graphics, and audio enhancement.
- Collaborate with hosts, producers, and content strategists to refine storytelling, pacing, and visual direction.
- Manage editing workflows, project templates, media organization, and asset libraries to ensure production efficiency.
- Maintain consistent quality standards across all published content and distribution channels.
- Analyze content performance metrics, including engagement, watch time, and completion rates, to optimize future creative decisions.
- Align creative output with marketing campaigns, brand messaging, and audience objectives.
- Identify opportunities to improve editing processes, production systems, and overall content operations.
The ideal candidate combines advanced technical editing skills with strong storytelling abilities and a deep understanding of digital content performance. Success in this role requires creativity, organization, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a collaborative remote environment.
- 5+ years of professional experience editing both video and audio content.
- Expert-level proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Audition.
- Demonstrated experience creating high-performing content across digital and social media platforms.
- Strong storytelling skills with excellent editorial judgment and attention to detail.
- Deep understanding of platform-specific editing styles, audience behavior, pacing, and content optimization.
- Experience using performance data and analytics to inform creative decisions.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional creative teams.
- Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback while maintaining high production standards.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working in B2B media, SaaS, or content marketing environments.
- Knowledge of YouTube SEO, metadata optimization, and content discoverability.
