Imaging Care Assistant in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at St. Clair Hospital

Summary

In accordance with established standards, provides assistance to patients in preparation for medical imaging procedures, as well as basic care tasks as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Must meet one of the following:
   1. High school graduate or equivalent
   2. High School Diploma or equivalent obtained within 6 months of hire
2. Must possess at least one of the following:
   1. Completion of a health related educational program focused on the delivery of direct patient care.
   2. Three months of experience in a clinical setting delivering direct patient care.
   3. Six months of experience providing in-person customer service.
3. A fundamental understanding of personal computers and familiarity with the Windows operating system.
4. Ability to lift and transport patients of various weights and ages.
5. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Prior work experience in a Hospital or clinical environment.
