Description: Program Analyst III

NextStep Technology, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused PCARD Program Analyst III to support the Purchase Card Program Manager and the agency’s Government Purchase Card Program. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills and be comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily operational and administrative support to the Purchase Card Program Manager.
  • Monitor the purchase card system to ensure the agency’s hierarchy structure is accurate, current, and compliant with system requirements.
  • Examine and evaluate purchase card data to ensure compliance with Department of Homeland Security requirements and internal controls.
  • Perform card-by-card analyses to confirm that cardholders have the appropriate controls, limits, and authorizations.
  • Develop and conduct training for purchase card stakeholders.
  • Perform reviews and audits of cardholder transactions and activities.
  • Support quality assurance by tracking and monitoring purchase card activity and system updates.
  • Process purchase card applications, cancellations, merchant category code changes, and other account updates.
  • Respond to email and telephone inquiries and serve as a point of contact for card-related questions, concerns, and system issues.
  • Complete assigned tasks accurately and within established timeframes.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the team by assisting with additional duties as needed.
Requirements: Education and Experience:

Candidates must meet one of the following requirements:

  • Six years of relevant or equivalent professional experience;
  • An associate degree and four years of relevant or equivalent professional experience; or
  • A bachelor’s degree and two years of relevant or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Experience:
  • Previous experience supporting a Government Purchase Card Program is preferred but not required.
