About This Role
Geronimo Power's Asset Management team maximizes the value of operating renewable energy assets while supporting compliance with contractual commitments, market rules, environmental regulations, permits, financing requirements, and other applicable obligations.
The Asset Management Associate provides analytical, financial, and project coordination support across a portfolio of operating wind, solar, and energy storage assets. This role supports asset optimization through performance reporting, data analysis, budgeting and forecasting, financial modeling, contract administration, compliance tracking, settlements, and energy market participation.
This role partners with Operations, Power Markets, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Legal, and Compliance, as well as investors, lenders, consultants, and regulatory entities. It is well suited for an analytical, detail-oriented professional who enjoys solving business problems and using data to support sound decisions.
Responsibilities
Reporting & Performance Analysis
- Prepare reports, dashboards, presentations, and financial analyses to support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements for management, investors, lenders, and other stakeholders.
- Analyze operational and financial performance data toidentifytrends, risks, opportunities, and recommendations to maximize asset value.
- Develop andmaintaindata visualizations and reporting tools that improve decision-making and organizational efficiency.
Financial Analysis & Modeling
- Support annual budgeting, long-term planning, and financial performance assessments.
- Perform forecasting, scenario analysis, variance analysis, and sensitivity modeling to support business decisions.
- Assistin the review and validation of financial models for new renewable energy investments, acquisitions, and development opportunities.
Operational & Technical Support
- Collaborate with Operations and Engineering teams to evaluate asset performance, analyze production and financial data, andidentifyoperational improvement opportunities.
- Assistwith activities associated with project commissioning, test energy production, substantialcompletionmilestones, and commercial operation declarations.
Contract, Compliance & Asset Administration
- Monitor and track compliance with project agreements, permits, lease obligations, financing requirements, and applicable ISO/RTO market rules.
- Support asset administration activities including invoicing, settlements, revenue collection, financial reconciliations, and maintenance of project records and documentation.
Data & Process Improvement
- Support the development and maintenance of data management systems, reporting automation, and business intelligence tools.
- Identifyopportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and enhance data quality across the Asset Management organization.
Strategic & Special Projects
- Support a variety of initiatives related to operating assets, including commercial transactions, operational improvement programs, merger and acquisition activities, regulatory changes, and cross-functional business projects.
What You’ll Bring
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, Data Analytics, ora relateddiscipline.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience in Asset Management, Data Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Operations, Engineering, Energy Markets, Development, Construction, or related fields.
- Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to interpret financial, operational, and technical information with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to succeed in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively across multiple teams.
- Proficiencywith Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding ofrenewable energy projects, including wind, solar, and energy storage technologies.
- Experience with financial modeling, forecasting, or investment analysis.
- Experience using data analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, or similar platforms.
- Advanced degree or relevant industry certifications.

Pay Range for the posted level: $72,000 – $95,000 plus target annual bonus opportunity of 10%. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, skills, and demonstrated market-relevant expertise
