Clinical Supervisor, Occupational Therapy
Seattle region, with support across Thrive's national portfolio | Full-time, 12-month | $125,000$140,000, W-2

The roleYou'll lead clinical quality for our growing occupational therapy practice. In the Seattle region, you'll supervise our OTs and COTAs directly. Across our programs in Tennessee, Texas, Florida, Ohio, and North Carolina, you'll help set the standards, training, and clinical guidance that define how Thrive practices OT.
You'll partner with our Washington Regional Clinical Manager, who leads team performance and operations, and you'll report to our Chief Clinical Officer.
What you'll doSupervise and develop clinicians (Seattle region)
- Supervise COTAs in line with Washington requirements
- Mentor OTs through case consultations, evaluation reviews, and help with goal writing
- Run clinical onboarding so new OTs and COTAs meet our standards from day one
- Review documentation in Thrive Clinical, our documentation platform, for quality and compliance
- Give the Regional Clinical Manager clinical input on performance and development
Build the practice (portfolio-wide)
- Set and maintain Thrive's OT clinical standards, including evaluations, interventions, IEP goals, and documentation
- Create and lead training for OTs and COTAs in every region
- Serve as a clinical consultant to OTs in other states, and supervise there as you become licensed
- Help shape how our OT team uses Thrive Clinical
Use the summer to build
- Plan the next school year: onboarding, training calendars, and caseload readiness
- Update clinical standards and training materials
- Onboard and train clinicians hired over the summer
Practice and grow
- Carry a small caseload of 3-5 students during the school year for teaching, modeling, and supervision purposes.
- Interview OT and COTA candidates with our talent team
- Washington OT license, active or eligible
- NBCOT certification
- 5+ years of pediatric OT experience, including school-based practice
- 2+ years supervising COTAs, fieldwork students, or other clinicians
- Solid knowledge of IDEA, IEPs, and school-based OT practice
- Clear, direct feedback and a teaching approach to mentoring
- Willingness to get licensed in additional states as the role grows
- Willingness to travel across the Seattle region, plus occasional travel to other states
Preferred: OTD or advanced certification (e.g., BCP); experience training or leading teams across sites
