Job Description

Business/Process Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Business/Process Analyst based in Switzerland.

As a Business/Process Analyst, you will help shape how a fast-growing fashion-tech business operates across its end-to-end product lifecycle.
You will map complex business processes, clarify rules and dependencies, and turn business knowledge into practical, reusable documentation.
The role sits at the intersection of business operations, data, technology, and process automation.
You will work closely with process owners and technical teams to redesign workflows and translate them into scalable solutions.
AI will be an integral part of your toolkit, helping accelerate analysis, documentation, knowledge management, and process optimisation.
You will continuously refine requirements and business logic as solutions are developed and tested.
The role offers significant ownership and the opportunity to directly improve efficiency, scalability, and automation readiness.

Accountabilities
  • Map business processes end to end, from initial triggers and inputs through final outcomes, responsibilities, and ownership.

  • Break complex processes into clear steps, decision points, business rules, data requirements, systems, dependencies, and edge cases.

  • Identify relationships and dependencies between business processes and the systems supporting them.

  • Convert process knowledge into clear, structured, reusable documentation and maintain a consistent company knowledge base.

  • Identify opportunities to simplify, redesign, optimise, or automate existing processes.

  • Analyse the potential impact of proposed improvements, including time savings, reduced manual work, fewer errors, and lower operating costs.

  • Design and iteratively refine TO-BE processes in collaboration with process owners and relevant stakeholders.

  • Work closely with technical teams during development and testing to ensure business requirements and logic are correctly implemented.

  • Validate solutions, identify missing or contradictory rules, and resolve newly discovered edge cases and business requirements.

  • Continuously update requirements, process documentation, business logic, and workflows as the business and underlying systems evolve.

  • Use AI tools to structure interviews and discussions, create initial process maps, identify gaps and contradictions, analyse processes, and maintain business knowledge.

  • Identify opportunities where AI and automation can reduce manual analysis and documentation work while maintaining the quality and accuracy of business logic.

  • Measure process improvements where relevant to determine whether expected operational and business outcomes have been achieved.

Requirements
  • Previous professional experience in Business Analysis, Process Analysis, Systems Analysis, or a closely related discipline.

  • Strong ability to break down complex business processes and structure them into clear, logical, end-to-end workflows.

  • Excellent analytical and questioning skills, with the ability to uncover missing information, business rules, exceptions, contradictions, and dependencies.

  • Strong systems-thinking mindset and the ability to understand how processes, data, applications, and business outcomes interact.

  • Experience working at the intersection of business operations, data, and IT systems.

  • Ability to translate business requirements and process logic into practical solutions that technical teams can implement.

  • Understanding of process optimisation, automation, and continuous improvement principles.

  • Demonstrated ability to think beyond individual tasks and understand the complete lifecycle of a process.

  • Hands-on experience using AI tools to accelerate analysis, documentation, research, knowledge management, or other professional workflows.

  • Ability to critically review AI-generated outputs and take ownership of the accuracy, completeness, and quality of the resulting analysis.

  • Highly structured, systematic, and detail-oriented approach to work.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with process owners, technical teams, and other stakeholders.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to make complex business concepts understandable and actionable.

  • A proactive mindset and willingness to challenge existing processes constructively rather than simply documenting the status quo.

  • Fashion-industry expertise is not required; transferable experience in analysing complex business environments is valued.

Benefits
  • €3,500–€4,500 gross monthly compensation.

  • Fully remote position within Europe.

  • Full-time employment.

  • Opportunity to work at the intersection of business analysis, technology, data, AI, and process automation.

  • Significant ownership in shaping and improving how a growing organisation operates.

  • Hands-on exposure to AI-enabled business analysis and knowledge-management practices.

  • Opportunity to collaborate closely with both business process owners and technical development teams.

  • Scope to directly influence efficiency, scalability, automation, and operational quality.

  • Dynamic environment where analysis and development are closely connected and processes evolve continuously.
