Position Overview
KidsPeace is seeking a dedicated and mission-driven professional to support foster care recruitment, training, and retention efforts. The Program Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining positive relationships with referral sources and the treatment team, and for the oversight and management of referrals and admissions, treatment/services to clients, foster family development. The Program Manager ensures compliance with all statutory, licensing, and accreditation requirements, mitigates risk, and serves in the on-call rotation.

Key Responsibilities
Recruit, interview and complete the hiring process for staffing positions for designated program areas.
Provide formal supervision for assigned staff to address service delivery and personnel needs and to motivate, teach, supervise and reinforce their work. Responsible for disseminating information and soliciting input regarding quality and safety. Conduct performance evaluations for assigned staff.
Develop and actively implement a system to coordinate the referral, admissions, matching and intake for clients served in the office.
Meet regularly with referral agencies to provide increased program visibility and to determine the potential for new business opportunities.
Maintain communication with the FCFS State and/or Regional Manager regarding information about unusual incidents and any other important issues related to program services.
Maintain program integrity by conducting the Quality Assessment and Improvement processes within the office. Ensure compliance in all areas as required by KidsPeace, State licensing and program regulations, and the Joint Commission where applicable. Report outcome measures as necessary. Maintain program fiscal integrity by adhering to budget and associated financial procedures.
Ensure completion of foster parent payroll, employee time sheets, monthly management reports, marketing reports, referral logs, variance reports, QA documentation, incident reports and any other administrative tasks requested.
Ensure program and service continuity by providing back-up for all staff and program functions, and filling in when staff vacancies occur.
Provide direct services to clients as necessary, including crisis intervention, on call, and conflict resolution.
Direct the process of recruiting, approving, and retaining families in order to assure adequate capacity to meet and exceed budget projections.
Tasks and responsibilities associated with overall office management and equipment and vehicle maintenance.
Maintain awareness of the KidsPeace continuum of services and actively promote the internal transfer and referral of children and families whenever clinically indicated.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services related field with experience in a supervisory capacity in social services, human
- Experience with acute emotionally challenged children or adolescents preferred.
