Job Description
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
The physician will provide comprehensive inpatient and/or outpatient palliative care services at the Clear Lake campus, including symptom management, goals-of-care discussions, and interdisciplinary care coordination. Responsibilities include supervising and teaching medical students, residents, and fellows; participating in the development and growth of palliative care services at this location; and engaging in scholarly activities such as education, program development, quality improvement, and research initiatives. The physician will also actively participate in departmental and institutional educational programs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Board certification in primary specialty, Board certification or Board eligibility in Hospice and Palliative Medicine, Palliative Medicine Fellowship training or other comparable experience.
SALARY:
Commensurate with experience.
