You will take ownership of a portfolio of education agents and partners, driving student recruitment performance and expanding market reach across Southern and Central Africa.
This role focuses on building strong, long-term relationships with recruitment agents to position higher education programs as a preferred choice for international students.
You will be responsible for delivering enrolment growth, improving conversion rates, and supporting revenue and profitability targets across your assigned network.
The position combines strategic account management with hands-on sales execution, requiring strong commercial awareness and relationship-building skills.
You will collaborate closely with marketing, product, and university partners to identify market trends and unlock new growth opportunities.
This is a field-oriented, partnership-driven role involving events, training sessions, and direct engagement with education agents.
You will act as a key market expert, providing insights that help shape recruitment strategies and product positioning.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to grow student enrolments and strengthen partner agent performance.
- Manage the full recruitment pipeline, including applicant generation, conversion optimization, and performance tracking.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with education agents, ensuring SLA compliance and high service quality.
- Recruit, onboard, and train new agents to expand and strengthen the partner network.
- Represent the organization at recruitment events, exhibitions, and in-market activities.
- Identify growth opportunities and risks within assigned markets and proactively manage partner performance.
- Provide market intelligence, competitor analysis, and insights to support product and strategy development.
- Deliver training and enablement programs to improve partner knowledge of products and recruitment processes.
- Collaborate with university partners to coordinate visits and gather local market insights.
- Support budget management, including scholarship allocation and campaign planning.
- Native-level fluency in local language(s) and strong English communication skills.
- Experience in B2B sales, channel sales, education recruitment, or account management roles.
- Strong understanding of student recruitment processes, agents, and international education systems.
- Proven ability to manage pipelines using CRM tools such as Salesforce and analytics platforms like Power BI.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-making.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet performance targets.
- Comfortable working in high-pressure, target-driven environments with measurable KPIs.
- Strong interpersonal skills with cultural sensitivity and adaptability across diverse markets.
- Self-motivated, resilient, and results-oriented with a strong drive for commercial success.
