  • Support technical decision-making, remove blockers, and elevate engineering standards across the team.
  • Track and analyze engineering metrics such as lead time, cycle time, throughput, and reaction time.
  • Ensure compliance with critical operational and regulatory processes within required deadlines.
  • Prepare regular reports and updates for senior leadership.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience as a software engineer, with strong technical understanding of modern engineering practices.
  • Proven experience as a Tech Manager or Engineering Manager, including people management, 1:1s, and performance feedback.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
  • Familiarity with modern engineering practices including code review, pair programming, and mob programming.
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments with multiple priorities and delivery pressure.
  • Strong analytical mindset with familiarity in engineering metrics and process optimization.
  • Ability to identify automation opportunities and drive operational improvements.
  • Nice to have: fintech or financial services experience, observability/telemetry exposure, SQL/query skills, and experience using AI tools to improve productivity.
  • Strong leadership mindset with the ability to develop junior engineers and support cross-squad collaboration.
Benefits:
  • Fully remote position within Brazil with flexible working hours.
  • Home office allowance and equipment support.
  • Meal allowance via Caju card and additional vacation benefits.
  • Health, dental, and life insurance coverage.
  • Paid time off including birthday, year-end, and vacation days.
  • Access to learning platforms, courses, and professional development resources.
  • Wellness and lifestyle benefits including partnerships and discounts.
  • Collaborative culture focused on feedback, autonomy, and continuous improvement.
  • Stable, structured environment with strong emphasis on engineering excellence and transparency.
