Internship- Estimating in Draper, Utah at Sterling Construction Company, Inc.

Interns will assist the Estimators with:

• Data collection for bids
• Communicating with sub-contractors
• Calculating costs
• Visiting with Project Managers and Project Engineers
• Reviewing designs
• Organizing documents and data for estimating bids.
• Interns must be proficient with Microsoft Office Applications; have an attention-to-detail mindset; be able to multi-task; and demonstrate excellent communication skills. Ability to read construction drawings is essential for this role. Dependable transportation to and from work is required.

• Junior or Senior (highly preferred)
• Minimum GPA 2.75
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Science, or Construction Management
• Past construction work experience is preferred
• Work in an office environment most (if not all) of the internship duration
