Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Service Solutions Analyst based in United States.
The Senior Service Solutions Analyst plays a key role in shaping service solutions that deliver measurable customer outcomes and support business growth.
You will work closely with Sales, Solution Consultants, and Professional Services teams to turn customer needs into practical, well-defined service engagements.
The role combines business analysis, solution scoping, effort estimation, proposal development, and customer-facing consulting within complex enterprise software environments.
You will help develop high-quality Statements of Work, clarify delivery expectations, assess risks, and ensure that proposed solutions are commercially sound and operationally achievable.
As a hands-on individual contributor, you will influence complex opportunities while building strong alignment between sales commitments and delivery capabilities.
You will also contribute to improving scoping methodologies, estimating standards, service offerings, and reusable best practices to increase consistency and scalability.
This is an opportunity to work cross-functionally with senior stakeholders in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where your expertise can directly influence customer success and services growth.
- Lead discovery discussions with prospects and customers to understand business objectives, current processes, constraints, requirements, and desired outcomes.
- Translate customer requirements into clear service solution approaches covering delivery phases, deliverables, assumptions, dependencies, acceptance criteria, and implementation considerations.
- Develop effort estimates and resource models in collaboration with Delivery Managers and Technical Consultants while identifying relevant risks and mitigation strategies.
- Draft and refine Statements of Work (SOWs) and supporting proposal materials to ensure they are complete, commercially appropriate, and aligned with delivery standards.
- Clearly define scope boundaries, including in-scope and out-of-scope activities, customer responsibilities, readiness requirements, environments, integrations, dependencies, and change-control expectations.
- Support services pricing and packaging discussions by balancing delivery feasibility, profitability, and customer value.
- Partner with Account Executives and Solution Consultants to develop services strategies, position proposals effectively, and support customer presentations.
- Participate in late-stage sales opportunities to resolve scope questions, refine deliverables, negotiate expectations, and support realistic time-to-value commitments.
- Maintain accurate services pipeline and deal documentation by keeping scoping artifacts, assumptions, approvals, and related information up to date.
- Coordinate effective Sales-to-Delivery handoffs so project teams receive complete context, scope details, assumptions, and supporting documentation.
- Analyze differences between sold scope and delivered outcomes and use these insights to recommend improvements to templates, estimating guidelines, scoping playbooks, and processes.
- Contribute to the standardization and scalability of service offerings, accelerators, methodologies, and best practices.
- Communicate complex technical and delivery concepts clearly and in a customer-friendly manner, adapting the level of detail to different audiences.
- Build trusted relationships across Sales, Services, Product, and Engineering teams to resolve blockers, improve collaboration, and strengthen the overall customer experience.
- Bring at least 5 years of experience in professional services solutioning, solution consulting, delivery management, business analysis, or a related customer-facing role within enterprise software or Software as a Service (SaaS).
- Demonstrate experience scoping and documenting services engagements, including developing Statements of Work, defining assumptions and dependencies, and managing change-control considerations.
- Have the ability to estimate effort and translate business and technical requirements into structured, phased delivery plans.
- Be familiar with implementation methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize information from technical and business stakeholders into clear recommendations.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present service solutions and influence decisions with senior stakeholders.
- Be comfortable working cross-functionally with Sales, Solution Consulting, Delivery, Product, and Engineering teams while managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Have experience applying modern sales approaches such as value selling, consultative selling, solution selling, or similar customer-outcome-focused methodologies.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field, or possess equivalent professional experience.
- Professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), or Agile certifications are considered a plus.
- Be willing and able to travel to a limited extent when required.
- Be able to work primarily during U.S. Eastern Time business hours for this position.
- Annual base salary of USD $90,000–$120,000, depending on hiring location and other applicable factors.
- Flexible work arrangements, including remote opportunities for U.S.-based candidates working Eastern Time hours.
- Hybrid work options may also be available depending on location.
- Comprehensive employee training designed to support successful onboarding and continued professional development.
- Strong emphasis on employee growth, learning, and career development.
- Opportunity to collaborate with talented, curious, and experienced professionals across a global organization.
- Exposure to complex enterprise customer engagements and opportunities to contribute to scalable services practices.
- An inclusive environment that values diverse perspectives, capabilities, and professional backgrounds.
