Job Description

Product Designer - Editor

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Designer - Editor based in France.

As a Product Designer, you will take end-to-end ownership of the core Editor experience within an innovative AI-powered content creation platform. You will shape how users create, edit, and export advertising content across formats including video, images, email, and display. Working closely with Product and Engineering, you will turn complex creative workflows into fast, intuitive, and powerful experiences. Your work will directly influence product adoption, content generation, and successful exports. You will have substantial autonomy to define problems, explore solutions, and bring ideas from concept through to production. The environment is highly execution-focused, with short development cycles and an emphasis on learning through iteration. This is an opportunity to help define new ways for AI to augment human creativity while making professional content creation more accessible.

Accountabilities
  • Own the core Editor experience end-to-end, from identifying and framing problems through concept development, interface design, implementation, and product launch.
  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to define and rapidly deliver features that increase content creation, generations, and exports.
  • Create high-quality, production-ready interfaces for editing and creation tools, with a strong focus on speed, usability, clarity, and user outcomes.
  • Expand creation capabilities across multiple content formats, including advertising, images, video, email, and display.
  • Design intuitive and trustworthy AI-powered editing workflows that enhance users' creative capabilities and make complex interactions feel simple.
  • Work closely with engineers throughout implementation, reviewing builds and refining designs to ensure the final product meets a high quality standard.
  • Conduct user research to uncover meaningful problems, validate solutions, and continuously improve usability and product clarity.
  • Use customer and product insights to make informed design decisions while balancing research with the need for fast execution and learning.
  • Contribute to and evolve the design system, including patterns, components, and foundational design principles as the product scales.
  • Take ownership of the product area, helping define not only how features work and look, but also which problems are worth solving and why.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience designing digital products, ideally within SaaS or complex workflow-driven editing and content creation environments.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design thinking, particularly around creation workflows, speed, usability, and measurable product impact.
  • A strong builder mindset and genuine enthusiasm for creating tools that help people produce high-quality content more efficiently.
  • Excellent interaction and visual design skills, with the ability to make sophisticated creation tools feel intuitive, powerful, and easy to use.
  • Strong product intuition and the ability to work autonomously, identifying opportunities that can meaningfully improve product usage without over-researching every decision.
  • Comfortable working through rapid iterations, testing ideas, learning from usage, and continuously refining features based on real-world feedback.
  • Proven experience collaborating closely with engineers and working effectively within a fast-moving product development environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma, including using it to explore concepts, communicate design intent, and contribute to evolving design systems.
  • Strong curiosity about artificial intelligence and an interest in designing AI-powered products and new interaction models for creative workflows.
  • A workflow-oriented mindset, with a deep understanding of how users move from an initial idea to a finished, exported asset.
  • Comfortable prioritizing speed of execution and learning while maintaining strong design judgment and a high bar for usability.
Benefits:
  • 25 days of paid time off plus public holidays, with a Flexible Time Off approach.
  • Health insurance and private medical coverage.
  • Monthly stipend supporting wellness, fitness, and learning and development.
  • Fully remote working arrangement, with the flexibility to work from anywhere within your home country.
  • Enhanced parental leave for parents through birth, adoption, or surrogacy.
  • Flexible working hours.
  • Access to a company office in The Shard, London for eligible UK-based employees.
  • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI-powered creative technology alongside experienced Product and Engineering teams.
  • High level of ownership and autonomy, with the opportunity to directly shape a core product experience.
