Customer Service Representative in Tifton, Georgia at Tire Distributors of Georgia Inc

The Representative is responsible for managing and growing relationships with existing customers. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, providing outstanding customer service, and exceeding goals through effective communication, product knowledge, and follow-through.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service existing accounts by planning and organizing a daily work schedule focused on dealers.
• Answer inbound calls to discuss products, pricing, availability and input new orders.
• Work with warehouse and office staff to orchestrate and route customer deliveries to ensure service levels are met.
• Customize sales opportunities by understanding the needs and profile of each customer / dealer.
• Recommend improvements in products, services, or policies based on customer feedback and industry trends.
• Resolve customer complaints and issues by identifying problems, generating solutions, and escalating when necessary.
• Continuously improve product knowledge and sales skills through training, workshops, and professional development.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales and customer records.
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to a high-performance culture.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven customer service experience
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Goal-oriented with the ability to meet or exceed goals
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Knowledge of tire products and the automotive industry preferred

Education & Experience:

• High School diploma required
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
• Previous experience in sales or customer service in a wholesale or automotive setting is strongly desired
