As a part time Maintenance Crew Member, you’ll assist with a variety of park maintenance projects, including:

• Mowing, trimming, and landscaping
• Collecting and disposing of refuse in and around parks
• Maintaining fences, signs, shelters, and playground equipment
• Performing custodial tasks and other duties as directed

This role is hands-on and active! You’ll be walking, bending, stooping, standing, kneeling, climbing, reaching, and sitting in all kinds of weather. Heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) is part of the job.

• Minimum age 18.
• Demonstrated experience in the field of parks maintenance or other related grounds experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Knowledge of accident prevention and precautions applicable to maintenance operations.
• Practical knowledge of mechanized equipment and tools in maintenance operations.
• Hours will be based on a 40 hour work week during the seasonal time frame of May – September.
• Must be available for weekend and holiday work hours.
