This role is a unique opportunity to build and scale a product strategy and offering development function from the ground up within a mission-driven environment. You will transform complex consulting, research, and technology capabilities into structured, repeatable, and market-ready offerings. Acting as an internal entrepreneur, you will identify patterns across engagements, shape new solutions, and define how they are packaged, positioned, and delivered. The role requires strong cross-functional influence across research, policy, delivery, and commercial teams. You will also play a key role in aligning leadership around investment decisions for new offerings. This is a high-impact position for someone who thrives in ambiguity and enjoys turning ideas into scalable solutions that create real-world impact.
- Lead the identification and evaluation of opportunities across consulting, research, and technology engagements to develop scalable offerings
- Build business cases, financial models, and investment proposals to support executive decision-making
- Define value propositions, positioning, target customers, and differentiation strategies for new offerings
- Guide productization efforts to ensure solutions can be consistently delivered and operationalized by delivery teams
- Coordinate go-to-market readiness, including pricing strategy, messaging, and internal enablement activities
- Monitor performance of active offerings, including adoption, delivery efficiency, and client satisfaction, and recommend improvements or retirement decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align execution, strategy, and commercialization efforts
- 10+ years of experience in product management, offering development, solution design, or practice leadership in consulting, government contracting, or health-related sectors
- Proven experience building or scaling a product or offering function, not only operating within one
- Strong track record of developing business cases, financial models, and investment proposals for new initiatives
- Ability to translate complex technical or subject-matter expertise into clear market-facing value propositions
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders and driving adoption of new commercial or delivery models
- Strong communication and executive presentation skills with the ability to operate in ambiguous environments
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
