This role is responsible for driving strategic growth across major Life Sciences customers, including pharmaceutical, biotechnology, research institutions, and advanced instrumentation OEMs. You will manage and expand high-value global accounts by building strong relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and increasing share of wallet across complex customer organizations. The position blends commercial ownership with technical understanding, requiring close collaboration with scientific and operational stakeholders. You will work across regions and functions to ensure consistent execution of global account strategies and deliver measurable revenue growth. Acting as a trusted partner to customers, you will translate market needs and scientific workflows into actionable commercial strategies. This is a high-impact role within a fast-moving, innovation-driven Life Sciences environment.
- Develop and execute strategic global account plans aligned with revenue targets, growth objectives, and broader commercial strategies across Life Sciences markets.
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities across pharmaceutical, biotechnology, genomics, proteomics, and advanced imaging segments.
- Expand existing accounts by increasing share of wallet, driving multi-site adoption, and securing long-term strategic partnerships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including scientists, procurement teams, facilities leaders, and OEM decision-makers.
- Collaborate closely with regional sales, applications engineering, R&D, and product teams to ensure customer needs are translated into effective solutions.
- Monitor account performance, market trends, and competitive activity, providing executive-level reporting and strategic insights.
- Manage CRM-based opportunity pipelines and deliver regular updates, forecasts, and performance reviews to senior leadership.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Physics, Chemistry, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in technical sales, key account management, or business development within a Life Sciences or technology-driven industry.
- Strong understanding of Life Sciences workflows such as microscopy, imaging, spectroscopy, cell analysis, or related instrumentation areas.
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-site global accounts and drive revenue growth in strategic enterprise environments.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with both technical and commercial stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with experience interpreting market, pricing, and customer data.
- Proficiency in CRM systems such as Salesforce and experience managing structured sales pipelines.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally up to 25–33%.
