Job Description:
The Art History Department at Barnard College seeks a part-time instructor to teach the following undergraduate courses during the 2026-2027 academic year:
Fall 2026:
AHIS2005BC PAINTING I/AHIS2007BC PAINTING III (1class)
Pay Rate: $14,000
AHIS2015BC SYNTHESIS: MIXED MEDIA STUDIO
Pay Rate: $14,000
Spring 2027:
AHIS2001BCDRAWING STUDIO
Pay Rate: $14,000
This appointment may include work performed outside of the classroom, including course preparation, attendance at meetings, course assessment, grading assignments and exams, as well as the resolution of incomplete or disputed grades.

Required Qualifications
Terminal degree in a related discipline is strongly preferred.
