What you will do:

The Quality Supervisor is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and leading the quality function for the media production operation. This role oversees all quality processes, including inspection, testing, documentation, and training of production personnel on quality procedures. The Quality Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring products meet specifications across all shifts and that quality standards are consistently applied in a 24/7 manufacturing environment. This position includes hands-on training, including time in Germany.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the day shift quality function for media production
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality procedures, inspection methods, and standards
  • Train production operators and shift leads on quality checks, inspection techniques, and proper use of lab equipment
  • Ensure consistent execution of quality checks across all shifts
  • Oversee and perform product testing and inspection using lab equipment
  • Maintain and organize quality records, test data, and documentation
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and traceability of quality data
  • Maintain and calibrate lab equipment and ensure proper lab organization
  • Identify quality issues and work with production and engineering to resolve root causes
  • Support new product introductions and process changes from a quality standpoint
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards and customer requirements

Qualifications

  • Experience in a manufacturing quality role required (supervisory experience preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Quality Engineering
  • Industrial Engineering
  • Manufacturing Engineering
  • Engineering Technology
  • Related technical field
  • Approximately 5 years of manufacturing quality experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of quality systems, inspection methods, and documentation practices
  • Experience working with lab or testing equipment preferred
  • Experience with quality records and documentation, audits, laboratory testing, operator training, corrective actions, and overall quality system management within a manufacturing environment strongly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Strong computer skills, including data entry, tracking, and reporting
  • Ability to train and develop production personnel
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of the quality function
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Willingness to travel internationally for training (approximately 4 weeks)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
