Shift: Monday through Thursday 6:30 am- 5:00 pm; OT Friday 6":30 am to 3 pm as needed
💲 Pay: $16.50–$18.50 per hour

About the Role
Mickey Truck Bodies is hiring an Inventory Cycle Counter I. This position supports accurate inventory records by performing routine cycle counts and assisting with inventory investigations. This role is ideal for candidates looking to start a career in warehouse operations, inventory control, or supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform assigned daily and weekly cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy across designated product lines.
- Count, verify, and record physical inventory in accordance with company procedures and documentation standards.
- Compare physical inventory counts to system records and report discrepancies to appropriate personnel.
- Assist with researching and resolving inventory variances through recounts and investigation of potential causes.
- Maintain organized inventory areas and accurate counting documentation to support operational efficiency.
- Support full physical inventory counts, internal audits, and inventory control initiatives as required.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and supervisors to identify and resolve basic inventory issues.
- Follow all inventory control procedures, warehouse safety guidelines, and company policies.
- Perform cycle counting and reconciliation activities for Van and Machine Room product lines.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 0–1 year of warehouse, inventory, logistics, or related experience preferred; training will be provided for candidates new to inventory cycle counting.
- Experience working in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment is a plus.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), or ERP systems is preferred but not required.
- Forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus; certification may be obtained after hire if required.
- Demonstrated reliability, attention to detail, and willingness to learn in a hands-on work environment.
- Ability to accurately count, track, and document inventory with strong attention to detail.
- Basic computer and data entry skills, including the ability to enter and review inventory information.
- Ability to compare data and identify discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to follow established procedures.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently while maintaining dependable attendance.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with warehouse and operations staff.

- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
- Ability to communicate clearly
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that exposure to all extreme types of weather
