Front Desk Coordinator
Location: New Braunfels, TX
Position Type: Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 8-5PM

Key Responsibilities
- Confirm patient appointments daily.
- Schedule, reschedule, and coordinate follow-up appointments.
- Monitor same-day add-on appointments and transportation needs when applicable.
- Accurately document appointment confirmations and patient communications.
- Verify patient demographics, insurance coverage, and identification.
- Review and communicate copays, deductibles, coinsurance amounts, and outstanding balances.
- Verify insurance eligibility and referral requirements.
- Scan and upload required documentation into electronic medical records (EMR).
- Welcome patients and provide exceptional customer service.
- Collect copays, deductibles, and outstanding patient balances.
- Ensure all patient information is accurate and up to date.
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries professionally.
- Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and clinic staff.
- Assist with general front office operations and administrative tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
Required
- Fluent in both English and Spanish.
- Experience verifying insurance eligibility and processing referrals.
- Knowledge of copays, coinsurance, deductibles, and patient financial responsibility.
- Proficiency with computers, electronic medical records (EMR), and insurance portals.
- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced medical office environment.
Preferred
- Previous medical front office or healthcare administrative experience.
- Experience working in pain management, urgent care, or specialty medical practices.
