Job Description
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Implementation Manager in United States.
This role sits at the center of large-scale public-sector program deployments, where technology, policy, and operations intersect to deliver critical services to families and students. You will lead end-to-end implementation of complex, multi-month customer deployments, ensuring that state partners successfully launch and adopt a high-impact platform. Acting as the primary driver of execution, you will coordinate across internal engineering, product, and support teams while aligning closely with external stakeholders. The work requires strong technical fluency, operational rigor, and the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable deployment plans. You will operate in a fast-paced, high-ambiguity environment where ownership and speed are essential. This is a highly visible role with direct impact on how education funding programs are delivered at scale across the United States.
You will be responsible for driving successful customer implementations from kickoff through go-live and long-term adoption, ensuring that deployments are efficient, scalable, and aligned with contractual requirements. You will act as the key connector between customers and internal teams, owning execution and outcomes across the full implementation lifecycle.
- Lead end-to-end implementation projects for state and enterprise customers, from planning through deployment and post-launch adoption
- Develop and manage detailed implementation plans in collaboration with external stakeholders and internal cross-functional teams
- Ensure successful go-live execution while meeting contractual milestones, timelines, and quality expectations
- Translate complex customer requirements into clear technical and operational workflows for internal execution
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and Support teams to configure and deploy platform solutions
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and maintain clear, consistent communication throughout the implementation lifecycle
- Drive adoption and long-term customer success to support renewals and program continuity
- Identify opportunities to standardize and scale implementation processes across customers
You bring strong experience in implementation, technical delivery, or customer success, with the ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects in fast-moving environments. You are both strategic and hands-on, capable of working deeply in technical systems while maintaining alignment across diverse teams.
- 5+ years of experience in implementation, technical account management, or customer success roles involving complex SaaS or technology deployments
- Proven track record managing long-term implementation cycles (6+ months) in high-complexity environments
- Strong technical aptitude with experience working on APIs, webhooks, or system configurations
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, product, and operations teams
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in SQL and/or advanced Excel for data analysis and troubleshooting
- Strong leadership, ownership mindset, and ability to drive accountability across multiple teams
- High level of adaptability and comfort working in ambiguous, fast-paced startup environments
- Bonus: experience working with government or public-sector organizations
- Competitive salary range of $130,000 – $160,000 depending on experience and performance
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans
- Short-term disability coverage and additional health support services
- Unlimited paid time off and flexible work arrangements
- Opportunity to work on high-impact public-sector programs serving millions of students and families
- Fast-paced, mission-driven environment with high ownership and autonomy
- Exposure to complex, large-scale implementation projects across multiple states
