THE POSITION
Join UNC Health Blue Ridge as an Outpatient Rehabilitation Manager and play a key leadership role in delivering exceptional rehabilitation services across our community. In this position, you will coordinate and direct the day-to-day operations of the Outpatient Rehabilitation Department, providing leadership, supervision, scheduling, and support for clinical staff while ensuring efficient operations and outstanding patient outcomes.
Working closely with the System Director of Rehabilitation, you will assist with strategic planning, policy and procedure development, budget management, staff recruitment and evaluations, quality improvement initiatives, and operational problem-solving. This role requires a strong combination of clinical expertise and leadership skills, as you will serve as a department liaison, coordinate staff training, oversee departmental resources, and help implement quality assurance programs that promote excellence in patient care.
The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of rehabilitation operations, demonstrate exceptional clinical skills, and be committed to providing age-appropriate, patient-centered care across the lifespan. The manager will also provide clinical support and assist with patient care activities as needed.

Qualifications:
- Associate Degree minimum as a Physical Therapy Assistant, Occupational Therapy Assistant, or Speech Therapist
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech Therapist, Physical Therapy Assistant, or Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification required
- Preferred minimum of three years of leadership or assistant department management experience in a rehabilitation setting
