Position Overview: As an Employee Benefits Customer Service Representative, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service and support to employee benefits clients. This position is responsible for assisting clients with policy servicing, responding to inquiries, processing benefit changes, and supporting claims-related needs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple priorities and client requests.
You will work closely with Account Managers, carriers, and internal team members to help ensure client satisfaction, retention, and accurate administration of employee benefits programs. By maintaining a strong understanding of employee benefits products and services, you will help clients navigate complex benefit plans and provide timely, effective solutions to their concerns.

Work Arrangement: This is a full-time hybrid position working in our office located in Dallas, TX.
Professional Responsibilities:
- Respond to inquiries and requests from employee benefits clients via phone, email, and in person.
- Assist with the servicing and administration of employee benefits plans, including enrollments, terminations, eligibility updates, and policy changes.
- Support clients with claims inquiries, provide claim status updates, and coordinate with carriers to help resolve issues.
- Maintain regular communication with clients regarding policy updates, renewals, billing, and benefit-related changes.
- Prepare, review, and process employee benefits documentation while ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry regulations and agency procedures.
- Address client concerns and collaborate with carriers, Account Managers, and internal departments to provide timely resolutions.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients to support retention and overall client satisfaction.
- Enter and maintain accurate client and policy information within the agency management system and CRM platform.
- Work closely with Account Managers, Producers, and carrier representatives to ensure efficient processing and servicing of employee benefits accounts.
- Provide clients with billing information, payment options, and assistance with payment-related inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, agency policies, and industry standards in all client interactions.
- Support additional administrative and client service projects as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of customer service experience within employee benefits, health insurance, or a related insurance environment required.
- Experience with employee benefits policy administration, enrollments, renewals, or claims support preferred.
- Strong understanding of employee benefits products, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and ancillary benefits preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, carriers, and internal team members.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
