Midland Medical is now hiring PrEP Team Lead in Oakland Park, FL
Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift | Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm and occasional Saturdays as needed
Pay Rate: $23/Hour

What You’ll Do
The PrEP Team Lead is responsible for integrating the Mission and Core Values of Midland Medical Center, and the goals of the PrEP department; in the provision of quality medical care management services, scheduling, retention, and preventive measures to eligible patients and those under the Midland umbrella. This position works closely with the Midland Cares team and Schedulers under the direction of the Manager of Community Programs.
- Promotes and practices Midland’s mission and values and follows its policies and procedures.
- Ensures confidentiality is maintained by entire team regarding patient/client information in accordance with HIPAA, professional and departmental standards.
- Adhere to all Florida Department of Health rules, guidelines, and parameters to ensure continuity of care and confidentiality.
- Maintain records of all patients tested, while providing a safe and progressive space for all types of individuals to know their status (HIV test results).
- Mandatory Participation in one quarterly community event scheduled by the company.
- Communication platforms such as patient portal, phone and email are utilized to execute mission.
- Serves as a resource to team members to help troubleshoot, answer questions, or properly refer questions and issues to the appropriate person.
- Work with team members to optimize provider schedules and patient satisfaction with efficient workflows and processes.
- Ensure team members are adequately trained to verify financial records and collect patient charges.
- Verify all patient information, ensuring charts are last updated.

Education/Professional:
- Highschool diploma or equivalent (GED)
- 2 years' experience of medical receptionist/ patient scheduling
- 2 years' experience of EMR systems
- 2 years' experience of PrEP
- 2 years' experience of LGBTQ++ Community Care preferred
- HIV-Aids 500 and 501 certification preferred
- 1 year of supervisory experience preferred
- Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and have valid insurance and driver’s license.
