Certified Nursing Assistant -Evenings Part-time in Haverhill, Massachusetts at Merrimack Health

Position Summary: Certified Nursing Assistant, Geri Psych, Part-time 24 hours per week. Evenings 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm. Haverhill campus.

Provides assistance to patients with activities of daily living and delivers basic nursing care within the Medical-Surgical Acute Care Unit. Supports the maintenance of a safe, clean, and organized environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse responsible for the team and/or unit.

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: High School graduate or equivalent. Successful completion of certified nursing assistant program.
• Certification/Licensure:
  • CNA certification or current RN student with documentation of completion of two clinical rotations.
  • Current American Red Cross or American Heart Association BLS required.
• Experience: Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of related work experience preferred.
• Software/Hardware: Experience with Meditech is preferred.
