Manufacturing Technician - 2nd Shift (Training Provided) in New Baltimore, Michigan at ABPC Company LLC

Anchor Bay Powder Coat (ABPC) is hiring multiple Manufacturing Technicians for our 2nd shift operation in New Baltimore, MI. If you are dependable, safety-conscious, and ready to learn, we want to hear from you.

No powder coating experience is required. We provide hands-on training and will teach you the processes, equipment, safety requirements, and quality standards needed to succeed in the role.

2nd Shift: 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM

Training may be conducted on 1st shift before transitioning to 2nd shift.

As a Manufacturing Technician, you will support production operations and help ensure customer orders are completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.

Responsibilities may include:

• Loading and unloading parts from production lines
• Preparing parts through cleaning, masking, plugging, and staging
• Assisting with powder coating and finishing operations
• Inspecting parts to ensure quality and customer requirements are met
• Packaging and preparing finished products for shipment
• Completing required production documentation
• Reporting quality, safety, or equipment concerns
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Following all company safety procedures and required PPE requirements

• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment

The following experience is helpful but not required:

• Manufacturing or production experience
• Powder coating experience
• Material handling experience
• Forklift operation experience

• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequently bend, reach, twist, kneel, and lift throughout the shift
• Lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds as needed
• Work in an industrial manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, dust, and production equipment
• Wear required personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, respirators, and other protective equipment as required
