URGE FITNESS is looking for a Full-Time Group Fitness Manager to lead and grow the Group Fitness program at our club.

This is not simply an instructor position. You'll teach classes, develop instructors, manage the class schedule, grow participation, engage members, support community outreach, and work directly with the General Manager as part of the club's management team.

Your Role:
-Teach approximately 8–10 Group Fitness classes per week, based on club needs
-Build and manage a strong, diverse Group Fitness schedule
-Recruit, audition, onboard and develop instructors
-Maintain dependable instructor and substitute coverage
-Monitor class attendance, participation, cancellations, instructor performance and member feedback
-Identify underperforming classes and opportunities to improve the schedule
-Grow class participation through member engagement and promotion
-Maintain high standards for class quality, professionalism, safety and studio presentation
-Support Group Fitness events, challenges and member-retention initiatives
-Capture and help coordinate class, instructor and event content for URGE marketing
-Develop relationships with local businesses, organizations and community partners
-Support overall club operations and work closely with the General Manager

This is a management position with real ownership and measurable expectations.

Success isn't determined by how many classes you personally teach. You'll be expected to grow participation, develop instructors, improve the schedule, engage members and build a Group Fitness program that produces results.

Our Standard:

We're looking for an experienced Group Fitness professional who is energetic, organized, dependable and comfortable leading both people and programs.

You should be able to deliver an excellent class while also managing schedules, reviewing numbers, developing instructors, following up on responsibilities and representing URGE professionally in the community.

Group Fitness teaching experience is required. Experience leading instructors, managing programming or building a Group Fitness program is strongly preferred.

Candidates should be comfortable with member engagement, community outreach, social media/content participation, basic reporting and accountability to measurable goals.

Schedule:

This is a full-time, on-site management position requiring flexibility based on class schedules, club programming, events and business needs.

The position includes teaching approximately 8–10 classes per week, including midday programming and other class times based on club needs. Some evening and weekend availability will be required.
