Description:

Position Objective: The Recruiter/HR Assistant will provide support for the talent lifecycle for Sunbelt corporate as well as multiple plants on an as needed basis. The position combines hands-on recruiting responsibilities with day-to-day HR support. The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and brings strong attention to detail and confidentiality.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Recruiting & Talent Acquisition

· Manage the full cycle recruitment process including job postings, resume screenings, initial interviews, and candidate communication. Manage agency relationships and oversee any outsourced recruitment.

· Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective sourcing strategies and pipeline building.

· Maintain applicant tracking system.

Human Resources

· Assist with new hire onboarding, orientation, and completion of required documents

· Maintain employee files and HRIS with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality

· Support benefits administration including enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Qualifications and Educational Requirements

· Minimum two years of relevant experience

· Good understanding of basic HR practices and recruiting fundamentals

· High school diploma

Preferred Skills

· Associate’s degree in a relevant field preferred

· Bilingual abilities

Job Requirements

· Able to successfully pass a criminal background check (following a conditional offer of employment)

· Speak fluent English in order to communicate with other employees and clients verbally and in writing

· Available to work moderate overtime throughout the year with heavier overtime requirements during busy seasons
