As a Systems Navigator, you will play a key role in guiding individuals through complex systems of care, coordinating support, and empowering people to achieve greater stability, independence, and quality of life.

What You’ll Do:
As a Mental Health Systems Navigator at Vail, you will:
- Provide Direct Client Support: Build meaningful, trusting relationships with individuals facing mental health challenges and offer assistance in areas like housing, financial, vocational, educational, legal, and medical needs.
- Offer Holistic Case Coordination: Ensure your clients have access to the services they need by making referrals and managing case coordination with other agencies and professionals.
- Complete Essential Documentation & Communication: You’ll complete required documentation and communication with community partners.
- Crisis Intervention & Support: Provide resources and support during crisis situations, helping clients navigate stressful moments and find solutions.
- Ongoing Client Interaction: Regularly meet with clients to support goals and advocate for them in the community.
- Build Community Connections: Develop strong relationships with county and state officials, family members, employers, and other community organizations to ensure clients receive the best possible support.
You will provide short-term support to help clients achieve stability, overcome barriers, and move toward their goals. By connecting individuals with long-term resources and supports, you will help lay the groundwork for lasting independence while growing personally and professionally and contributing to our organization's mission.
What You Bring:
- Candidates must have either two years of experience working with individuals with mental illness; or have earned a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field. Social Work candidates must hold a valid and current Social Work licensure.
- At least one year of professional or internship experience in the mental health field.
- A valid Minnesota Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle for community-based visits (mileage reimbursement provided).
