Job Title: HVAC Lead

Position Summary:

SunVena is seeking an experienced HVAC Lead to join our team. This vital role combines hands-on technical excellence—performing the removal, replacement, and installation of HVAC equipment and accessories with strict adherence to all applicable codes—with significant leadership duties. The HVAC Lead is responsible for ensuring the best customer service experience while actively mentoring and coaching apprentice and entry-level technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install HVAC equipment according to safety requirements company standards, and manufacturer specifications
• Stay up to date on current technologies and new products in the field.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction by addressing any questions, concerns, or issues the customer may have during installation.
• Properly connect equipment (electrical hook-ups, gas lines, and venting).
• Properly and efficiently document all calls/jobs to the company's requirements.
• Responsible for a company work vehicle, parts inventory, and equipment assigned to company work vehicle.
• Performs all work to industry standards and maintains a professional manner and appearance at all times.
• Complies with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and company directives as related to building operations and practices safe work habits.
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with associates.
• Effectively manage all assigned jobs, prioritize tasks, and ensure project timelines and deadlines are consistently met.
• Ensure the safe and proper operation of all tools and equipment on site, and enforce safe work habits with all team members.
• Foster a collaborative work environment while demonstrating the ability to independently manage tasks and complex situations.
• Leads and trains HVAC Technicians and related contractors in the performance and completion of HVAC
• Complete any additional tasks as directed by leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven successful experience as a Air Conditioning Installer for 3+ years
• Must display strong communication skills and technical competence.
• Must have knowledge of safety rules and requirements.
• Must have strong attention to detail.
• Commitment to excellence and high standards
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
• Bilingual skills is a plus
• Must be able to perform demanding physical labor, including frequent bending, lifting, and working in varied positions (e.g., stooping, crawling, reaching)
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Computer Skills:

• Proficient with computers and the following applications: Microsoft Word, Excel & GoogleSuite
