This role is a high-impact commercial position focused on driving growth across the life sciences sector, including pharma, biotech, medtech, and advanced therapeutics organizations. You will be responsible for building and expanding strategic client relationships across the Northeast region while actively developing new business opportunities in a competitive, highly specialized market. The position combines consultative selling with structured pipeline management, requiring a strong ability to engage senior stakeholders and translate complex client needs into tailored solutions. You will work closely with internal subject matter experts to position high-value consulting services that support drug development, manufacturing, and regulatory excellence. Operating in a remote-first setup with regional travel, you will play a key role in strengthening market presence and driving measurable commercial impact.

Accountabilities:
  • Drive end-to-end business development activities across the Northeast region, including prospecting, lead generation, qualification, and closing of new consulting engagements within the life sciences sector.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities through targeted outreach, networking, research, and CRM-driven tracking and forecasting.
  • Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets by executing structured, consultative sales strategies aligned with client needs and market dynamics.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in pharma, biotech, medtech, and related industries to support both new business and account expansion.
  • Collaborate with internal experts and delivery teams to design customized solutions and present value-driven proposals to prospective and existing clients.
  • Track, analyze, and report key sales performance metrics including pipeline progression, conversion rates, and revenue growth.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to strengthen brand visibility and generate new business opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5+ years of B2B sales or business development experience, ideally within life sciences, healthcare consulting, or related technical services industries.
  • Strong understanding of biotech, pharmaceutical, or medical device ecosystems, with proven ability to engage and influence senior-level stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales quotas and closing complex, consultative deals.
  • Experience using CRM systems for pipeline management, forecasting, and performance tracking.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with a consultative sales mindset.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% within the Northeast region for client meetings and industry events.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary with commission-based earning potential.
  • Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching contributions.
  • Generous paid time off and flexible work arrangements supporting work-life balance.
  • Remote-first setup with regional travel opportunities for client engagement.
  • Career growth and professional development opportunities within a high-growth consulting environment.
  • Inclusive and collaborative culture focused on expertise, integrity, and impact in the life sciences sector.
