The ideal candidate combines strong product management fundamentals with experience optimizing customer acquisition, authentication, registration, subscription, and commerce-related user journeys. They will own strategy, roadmap development, requirements definition, KPI measurement, and cross-functional execution while partnering closely with engineering, design, analytics, security, and business stakeholders.

This position is highly visible and directly influences customer acquisition, activation, and engagement across the free streaming platform. The ability to work PT hours is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate customer pain points throughout authentication and onboarding journeys and translate findings into measurable product improvements.
  • Champion customer-first thinking by leveraging personal experience as a consumer of streaming and subscription-based products to identify opportunities for optimization.

Product Delivery & Execution
  • Translate customer acquisition, registration, authentication, entitlement, and onboarding workflows into detailed product requirements and implementation plans.
  • Partner with engineering and design teams to streamline onboarding experiences and reduce barriers to account creation and content access.
  • Lead products through the complete lifecycle including discovery, requirements gathering, prioritization, development, launch, measurement, and optimization.

  • Maintain deep knowledge of the streaming media, digital identity, authentication, and AVOD/Freemium ecosystem.
  • Monitor emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitive offerings to inform product strategy.
  • Benchmark DIRECTV experiences against industry leaders and identify opportunities for differentiation.
  • Bring competitive insights into roadmap planning, executive discussions, and strategic decision-making.

Enhanced KPI & Analytics Section
  • Define, track, and continuously improve key authentication and onboarding performance metrics, including:
