As an AI Engineer focused on performance and reliability, you will play a key role in improving the quality, accuracy, and scalability of AI-powered products used by thousands of users every week. Working in a fully remote and collaborative environment, you will design, evaluate, and optimize AI agents while ensuring consistent performance in production. - Design, develop, and optimize AI agents to improve performance, reliability, and user experience across production environments.
- Create, maintain, and enhance evaluation frameworks to measure agent accuracy and ensure consistent quality standards.
- Monitor user feedback, identify performance issues, and implement improvements based on insights and real-world usage data.
- Conduct experiments involving prompts, models, agent architectures, and workflows to increase effectiveness and efficiency.
- Maintain and improve AI evaluation infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness within CI/CD pipelines.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in AI, large language models, and agent technologies to continuously improve solutions.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and design teams to deliver high-quality AI-powered experiences.
- Document findings, share learnings, and contribute to the establishment of AI performance best practices.
- Practical coding experience with Python and/or TypeScript.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience working with Large Language Models, either through professional projects or personal initiatives.
- Experience designing, building, or maintaining AI agents and agent-based workflows.
- Strong understanding of LLM providers, model capabilities, limitations, and performance trade-offs.
- Familiarity with AI development tools and frameworks, including OpenAI APIs and modern agent development ecosystems.
- Exposure to observability, evaluation, or monitoring tools for AI applications is considered an advantage.
- Experience with open-source AI models is a plus.
- Background in software engineering, product development, quality assurance, or data-related disciplines is beneficial.
- Strong analytical mindset with a passion for experimentation, testing, and continuous improvement.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous environments where processes evolve alongside technological advancements.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to sharing knowledge and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Professional proficiency in English; knowledge of Portuguese, Spanish, or Italian is considered a plus.
- Competitive annual gross salary ranging from €40,000 to €60,000.
