Position Summary
The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing traditional marketing, digital marketing, e-commerce and brand awareness strategies that promote the company’s products and services. This role oversees brand management, marketing campaigns, content creation, market research, and the company’s e-commerce presence.
In addition to traditional marketing responsibilities, this role provides strategic direction leadership for e-commerce operations, ensuring listings, pricing, promotions, and channel performance align with company objectives. The Marketing Manager collaborates closely with Sales, Operations, Finance and our ownership group’s Marketing team to ensure consistent messaging, optimized digital presence, and strong commercial results.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Brand Management
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with company goals, brand positioning, and revenue targets.
- Plan, implement, and track marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, email, events, and traditional advertising.
- Oversee brand management initiatives to ensure consistency across all marketing, sales, and e-commerce touchpoints.
- Manage the creation of marketing content, including website copy, product descriptions, blog posts, newsletters, press releases, and promotional materials.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and customer needs.
- Coordinate and execute Full Circle’s annual industry event participation strategy.
E-Commerce & eBay Sales Leadership
- Provide strategic leadership for the company’s e-commerce and eBay sales channels, with accountability for traffic, conversion, revenue, and profitability.
- Direct and support the employee responsible for day-to-day eBay and e-commerce execution, including listings, promotions, pricing updates, and customer engagement.
- Establish standards and best practices for product listings, imagery, descriptions, SEO, and merchandising to maximize visibility and sales performance.
- Analyze e-commerce and marketplace performance metrics (e.g., sales, conversion rates, margins, and customer feedback) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to expand or optimize online marketplaces, tools, and platforms to scale digital sales efficiently.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Performance Management
- Collaborate with Sales and Product teams to support lead generation, sales enablement, and revenue growth.
- Analyze and report on marketing and e-commerce performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Manage marketing budgets, timelines, and external vendors or agencies.
- Lead, mentor, and develop direct report(s), fostering accountability, skill development, and high performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, with demonstrated success managing campaigns and projects.
- Experience overseeing or supporting e-commerce and/or marketplace sales (e.g., eBay, Amazon, Shopify, or similar platforms).
- Strong understanding of digital marketing tools, analytics, and performance measurement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically while executing tactically in an entrepreneurial high growth environment.
- Strong project management, organizational, and people leadership skills.
- Familiarity with marketing automation, CRM platforms, and social media management tools is a plus.
