Job Description
SUMMARY:
Perform all general maintenance and repair functions within approved guidelines and as directed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:
- Takes direction from Facilities Manager and Director in prioritizing projects to be completed.
- Responsible for all general maintenance and repair of minor problems throughout the Casino complex as directed by immediate supervisor.
- Ensure adherence to all OSHA regulations and internal safety policies and procedures.
- Operates company vehicles as required.
- Maintains records of projects: logging in length of job required, supplies used and expenses.
- In-depth knowledge of all materials and tools used, ensuring all safety codes have been observed and met.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on all equipment as assigned.
- Supports other Maintenance Engineers.
- Interacts with customers and other casino departments in a professional and courteous manner.
- Adheres to the company’s standard levels, ensuring daily work and special projects are completed in an efficient and professional manner.
- Performs preparatory procedures on assigned projects and organizes time to ensure all proper steps are taken in completing and producing a finished job.
- Responsible for maintaining a consistent and regular attendance record and attendance of all mandatory training.
- Keep all areas clean and sanitized as directed.
- Other duties as necessary to ensure smooth operations
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or GED preferred and at least one year of work experience.
- Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
- Must be proficient in the proper use of tools and equipment.

The Employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
The Employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to risk of electrical shock and trips and falls.
The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places and in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to extreme heat.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
When on the casino floor or mechanical rooms, the noise level increases too loud and exposure to secondhand cigarette smoke.
- Face-to-face / in person: High level of interaction with employees, moderate with guests and vendors.
- Telephone interaction: Low level of interaction with guests, moderate to high with employees and vendors.
