Job Coach in Superior, Wisconsin at Embark Supported Employment

About the Role:
We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and motivated people to serve as substitute Job Coaches to support adults with employment barriers in achieving success in their workplaces and community-based employment settings. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about inclusion and empowerment and has hands-on experience in the disability field. It is variable time commitment based on the needs of the organization and will be on-call.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site job coaching and support to individuals with barriers in various employment settings
• Assist with job skill development, workplace communication, and problem-solving
• Collaborate with employers to ensure a supportive and inclusive work environment
• Monitor progress and adapt coaching strategies to meet individual needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate regularly with the support team

Qualifications:

• Experience working with individuals with disabilities (required)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Creative problem-solving abilities and adaptability
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally
• Must pass a background check and driving record check
