Job Description
As the Assistant Community Manager, you'll partner with the Community Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy apartment community while delivering exceptional service to residents and supporting the success of the onsite team.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist with all daily property operations, including leasing, resident relations, and administrative functions.
- Support rent collections, delinquency management, and resident account follow-up.
- Deliver outstanding customer service while professionally resolving resident concerns and inquiries.
- Conduct apartment tours and assist with leasing activities as needed.
- Process applications, lease renewals, notices, and lease documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure work orders, inspections, and apartment turns stay on schedule.
- Help monitor occupancy, leasing performance, and resident retention goals.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies, Fair Housing regulations, and all applicable laws.
- Assist with monthly reporting, audits, and operational initiatives.
- Help maintain the overall appearance and standards of the community.
- Support resident events and community engagement activities.
- Jump in wherever needed to support the success of the property and the onsite team.

We're looking for someone who brings:
- 2+ years of multifamily property management or leasing experience
- Previous Assistant Community Manager experience, or a top-performing Leasing Consultant ready for the next step
- Experience with rent collections, resident relations, and lease administration
- Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and property management best practices
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software (Entrata, RealPage, Yardi, or similar)
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or GED required; CAM designation or other industry certifications are a plus
