About the Role
Restaurant Team Members are cross-trained to support multiple areas of restaurant operations. Every Team Member has opportunities to learn new skills while working together to deliver exceptional food, service, and hospitality.
Depending on training, certifications, scheduling, and business needs, Team Members may work in a variety of positions, including:
- Cashier
- Bartender (RBS certification required)
- Cook
- Prep Cook
- Utility / Food Runner
Team Members may also work shifts at either of our Bambuza restaurants within Sacramento International Airport.
What You'll Do
No two shifts are exactly alike, but your responsibilities may include:
- Welcoming guests with friendly, genuine hospitality.
- Taking food and beverage orders and processing payments.
- Preparing fresh food according to company recipes and quality standards.
- Preparing and serving alcoholic beverages (when assigned and certified).
- Running food and supporting dining room service.
- Washing dishes and maintaining a clean, organized restaurant.
- Receiving deliveries, stocking supplies, and maintaining inventory.
- Following food safety, sanitation, and airport security requirements.
- Working as part of a team to deliver an outstanding guest experience.

Restaurant experience is preferred, but not required. If you bring a great attitude and a strong work ethic, we'll teach you the rest.
Schedule & Availability
Because we operate inside Sacramento International Airport, Team Members must be available to work a variety of shifts, including:
- Early morning opening shifts (beginning as early as 4:00 a.m.)
- Late-night closing shifts (ending as late as 1:00 a.m.)
- Weekends and holidays

Eligible Team Members also participate in Bambuza's pooled tip program in accordance with Company policy and applicable law.
Requirements:- Ability to obtain and maintain a California Food Handler Card.
- Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification before performing bartender duties.
- Ability to successfully complete the airport badging process and required background check.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
