Job Description:
The Material Handler is responsible for scanning the Work Orders to effectively remove materials from stock,
printing IFU (Instruction for use) tags, and organizing work by date to proceed to the next stations (Embroidery or
In-Process Inspection).
Duties:
• Ensure work is being worked in order of date; First in, First out.
• Pull work orders for each product, scan the work order, print IFU label, and attach the labels to the
appropriate traveler
• Ensure quality of the label. Check the label for correct serial number, manufacture date and revision
number.
• Place the traveler back with the corresponding product.
• Sort aprons designated for Embroidery or In-Process Inspection processing.
• Deliver aprons to the appropriate department or designated locations.
• Organize aprons and thyroids by date to support workflow and order accuracy.
• Assist fabric covering by retrieving missing pieces from other locations as needed.
• Provide support to the embroidery and fabric covering departments as needed

• Prioritizing: Possess the ability to interrupt flow to process more urgent work.
• Basic Computer Skills:
o Competent with Office software products or similar software.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using material handling equipment like computers and printers.
• Communication Skills: Effectively communicating with team members and supervisors.
• Problem-Solving: Quickly addressing issues that arise in the handling and storage of materials.
• Safety Awareness: Understanding and following safety protocols to prevent accidents.
Physical requirements
• Able to lift and stand for the duration of the shift.
o Lift up to 10lbs for 2/3 of more of shift
o Lift up to 25lbs for 1/3 to 2/3 of shift
o Lift up to 40 lbs for up to 1/3 of shift
• Vision – Close vision, color vision, distance and depth perception
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED: Basic educational requirement.
• Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is beneficial.
o Familiarity with inventory management software preferred.
• Training: On-the-job training for specific equipment and procedures.
Second Shift: 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM Monday through Thursday, and 12:15 PM - 8:15 PM on Fridays
