This senior leadership role sits at the intersection of health economics, oncology innovation, and global commercial strategy, driving the value narrative for advanced cancer care programs. The position is responsible for defining and executing long-range financial and value frameworks that support complex oncology solutions across multiple markets. It plays a critical role in translating clinical, operational, and economic evidence into compelling insights for payers, providers, and government stakeholders. Working within a highly cross-functional and international environment, the role shapes how value is measured, demonstrated, and communicated across global partnerships. It also establishes performance governance models that track impact, ROI, and adoption of advanced oncology technologies. This is a strategic, data-driven position influencing executive decisions and large-scale healthcare transformation initiatives worldwide.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will lead the development of global health economics strategy and performance governance frameworks supporting oncology value programs, ensuring alignment between financial outcomes, clinical value, and market access success. You will collaborate across commercial, clinical, and digital teams to build scalable models and insights that demonstrate measurable impact across healthcare systems.

  • Define and lead multi-year strategic and financial planning for global oncology value programs, aligning growth, profitability, and market expansion objectives.
  • Establish and govern a global KPI framework tracking revenue performance, cost savings, adoption metrics, reimbursement outcomes, and partnership effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain advanced health economic models (ROI, budget impact, cost-effectiveness, and total cost of care) supporting complex value-based deals.
  • Partner with clinical and medical teams to design real-world evidence strategies and translate outcomes into measurable performance indicators.
  • Develop executive dashboards and reporting systems to monitor KPIs, identify risks, and guide strategic decision-making.
  • Support market access and reimbursement initiatives in collaboration with regulatory stakeholders, including Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
  • Lead cross-functional governance forums, ensuring alignment across finance, commercial, clinical, and digital analytics functions.
  • Drive continuous improvement in value measurement, forecasting accuracy, and post-implementation performance tracking.
Requirements

This role requires deep expertise in healthcare economics, financial modeling, and strategic leadership within complex healthcare or life sciences environments. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capability with executive communication skills and a proven ability to influence senior stakeholders across global organizations.

  • Advanced degree in health economics, finance, business, or a quantitative discipline (MBA strongly preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in health economics, strategic finance, outcomes research, or healthcare consulting, including leadership of complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
  • Strong expertise in building financial and economic models (ROI, cost-per-case, budget impact, and scenario forecasting) within oncology or healthcare systems.
  • Deep understanding of U.S. healthcare reimbursement systems, payer dynamics, and hospital procurement processes.
  • Experience working with oncology care pathways and related economic drivers such as treatment utilization, capital equipment economics, and service line profitability.
  • Proven ability to translate complex clinical and financial data into executive-level narratives and strategic recommendations.
  • Strong proficiency in analytics tools such as Excel and BI platforms (e.g., Power BI or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated success influencing cross-functional teams and driving decisions in matrixed global environments.
Benefits
  • Competitive base salary range: $154,170 – $211,981 USD (based on experience and location)
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer support
  • Life insurance and disability coverage (short-term and long-term)
  • Paid time off, sick leave, and holiday benefits
  • Flexible work arrangements supporting work-life balance
  • Paid parking or public transportation support (where applicable)
  • Access to global learning, development, and career growth opportunities
  • Inclusive and diverse workplace culture focused on innovation in healthcare
