This role is responsible for leading end-to-end supply chain projects that directly support customer-facing initiatives and operational excellence across supply chain services. It plays a key part in coordinating complex, cross-functional efforts involving customers, sales teams, service providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution. The position operates in a dynamic environment where prioritization, communication, and structured delivery are critical to success. With responsibility spanning planning, execution, and performance tracking, the role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. It also contributes to continuous improvement efforts by applying Lean and Six Sigma principles to enhance efficiency and customer outcomes. This is a highly collaborative position requiring strong stakeholder management and the ability to translate strategy into measurable execution.
Lead and manage supply chain projects from initiation through completion, ensuring clear planning, task prioritization, and structured timelines to achieve successful and timely delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Oversee full project lifecycle management, including planning, execution, documentation, tracking, and reporting across multiple supply chain initiatives.
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, sales, and service providers, to ensure alignment and delivery of project objectives.
- Develop and maintain KPI dashboards and performance tracking tools, providing regular updates (weekly or bi-weekly) to stakeholders.
- Manage project budgets, including cost tracking, invoicing, capital expenditures, and financial reconciliation against targets.
- Apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to improve processes, streamline operations, and enhance customer and internal service delivery.
- Utilize project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet) to track milestones, dependencies, and overall project performance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, including participation in Kaizen events and identification of future project opportunities.
- Ensure consistent communication across all organizational levels and maintain accountability for project outcomes and deliverables.
This role requires strong project management expertise within supply chain environments, along with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive operational execution in a fast-paced setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5–7+ years of progressive project management experience in supply chain or operational environments.
- PMP certification preferred; Lean Six Sigma Green Belt strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes, particularly in demand fulfillment and last-mile operations.
- Experience managing cross-functional, customer-facing projects with measurable outcomes.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities, including executive-level engagement.
- Ability to build strong internal and external partnerships and resolve complex operational challenges.
