Job Summary:

An exempt position provides individual and group clinical supervision in accordance with the Ohio Board of Social Work standards and guidelines to licensed and unlicensed behavioral health staff in various environments. Duties include establishing clinical practice policies, case conferencing and creating/reviewing treatment plans as needed. Supervises licensed and non-licensed direct service staff in the administration of services in low, moderate and high acuity patients/clients. The position requires collaboration with primary care ( and psychiatry if available) in an effort to coordinate care for the effective treatment of complex and multiple diagnosis. Also providers guidance to the primary care providers and nurses in the proper use of behavioral health tools and methodology to ensure the patient experience is as seamless as possible.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Master's Degree in Social Work; or LISW-S with four to ten years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Experience: Two years of licensure and experience. Health care related experience preferred.
3. Other Requirements: Licensed in the State of Ohio as a Licensed Independent Social Worker-Supervisor (LISW-S) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Supervisor (LPCC-S)
4. Personal Attributes: Should exhibit positive, professional demeanor towards operations, staff, clients, patients and their families and be an ambassador for the mission of Ironton-Lawrence County CAO and the Family Medical Centers.
