PERFORMANCE MARKETING SPECIALIST (CO-OP) - FALL 2026

Your Position & How You Will Contribute:
Reporting to the Director of Communications & Brand Strategy, the Performance Marketing Specialist will play an active role in supporting marketing programs that drive awareness, engagement, and customer acquisition. You will gain exposure to a broad range of marketing disciplines, including social media, influencer marketing, public relations, community activation, and events. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, contribute to meaningful projects from day one, and develop hands-on experience with marketing strategies that support the growth of one of Canada's fastest-growing internet providers.
Responsibilities & Key Duties:
Social Media & Content:
- Manage and maintain a calendar of organic social media posts across channels.
- Draft and create copy and creative for organic social content and posting.
- Support the development and execution of telMAX’s influencer program strategy and planning
PR & Corporate Communications:
- Support the creation of a local PR playbook for new markets.
- Draft and coordinate the distribution of PR/press releases.
Community Activation & Events:
- Support the planning and execution of community events to build brand visibility and equity in new and priority markets
- Monitor event premium stock levels and advise when restock orders need to be placed.
- Supply digital assets and facilitate conversations/briefs with external partners (when required)
What You Bring:
- Demonstrated knowledge of marketing and marketing practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage individual tasks and collaborate with a team.
- Strong time and task management skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products
- Familiarity with social monitoring tools.
- G-class Drivers License and access to a vehicle.
Education:
- Currently enrolled in a Marketing or Marketing-related field of study.
