Job Description

Performance Marketing Manager (E-Commerce)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Performance Marketing Manager (E-Commerce) based in Brazil.

This is a fully remote opportunity for a hands-on performance marketer focused on profitable DTC e-commerce growth.
You’ll take ownership of paid acquisition, with Meta Ads as the primary channel and opportunities to expand across TikTok, Google, and YouTube.
The role combines strategic planning with daily execution, from campaign builds and creative testing to budget allocation and optimisation.
You’ll work closely with founders and creative specialists to develop high-performing ads, landing pages, and customer acquisition funnels.
Commercial thinking is essential, with success measured through contribution margin, customer acquisition costs, and lifetime value rather than vanity metrics.
You’ll join a fast-moving environment where autonomy, ownership, experimentation, and measurable results are highly valued.

Accountabilities
  • Own the full lifecycle of Meta Ads, including campaign creation, testing, daily optimisation, scaling, and performance management.
  • Test and develop additional paid acquisition channels, including TikTok, Google, and YouTube.
  • Develop creative strategies and briefs in collaboration with designers and video editors to produce compelling, conversion-focused advertising.
  • Optimise landing pages and customer acquisition funnels to improve conversion rates and overall marketing efficiency.
  • Manage budget allocation and forecasting across paid media channels, ensuring investment is aligned with profitable growth objectives.
  • Monitor campaign and business performance, providing weekly reporting, actionable insights, and strategic recommendations.
  • Analyse customer acquisition performance through metrics such as CAC, LTV, MER, ROAS, and contribution margin.
  • Build scalable marketing processes, systems, and ways of working as the wider marketing function grows.
  • Work directly with senior leadership to shape paid acquisition strategy and identify opportunities for sustainable growth.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience managing Meta Ads for DTC or e-commerce brands.
  • Demonstrated experience scaling paid media spend profitably, ideally with £30k+ in monthly ad spend.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce unit economics, including CAC, LTV, MER, contribution margin, and ROAS.
  • Experience developing creative briefs and collaborating effectively with designers, video editors, and other creative specialists.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn performance data into clear decisions and actionable optimisation strategies.
  • Commercial mindset with an understanding of how paid acquisition contributes to overall profitability and customer lifetime value.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain marketing performance and strategy clearly to non-specialist stakeholders.
  • English proficiency sufficient for professional communication and written applications.
  • Nice to have: experience in health, wellness, supplements, or beauty.
  • Nice to have: experience with TikTok Ads, Google Ads, Shopify, Klaviyo, or Triple Whale.
  • Nice to have: understanding of retention marketing and email marketing.
Benefits
  • 100% remote working arrangement with flexible hours.
  • Minimum 4 hours of daily overlap with UK GMT working hours.
  • Competitive contractor rate based on experience.
  • Paid time off, including UK bank holidays.
  • Direct access to founders and meaningful input into marketing strategy.
  • Opportunity to shape and build the marketing function of a growing DTC brand.
  • International opportunity with applications welcomed globally.
  • Opportunity to work with products focused on health and wellbeing.
  • Independent contractor arrangement offering a high degree of autonomy.
  • Full-time schedule, Monday to Friday, aligned with UK working hours.
  • Important application requirement: CVs must be submitted in English, and a Vocaroo submission is required as part of the application.
