- Review manual test cases for Salesforce customizations, including Lightning Web Components, Apex triggers, Flows, and declarative configurations, and identify opportunities for effective automation.
- Support and continuously improve automated testing throughout iterative development, system testing, and regression cycles across multiple Salesforce releases.
- Review user stories and functional requirements to ensure comprehensive test coverage across both standard and custom Salesforce objects.
- Execute manual test cases and scripts for features under development, using appropriate test management and tracking tools.
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, scenarios, and automation scripts in accordance with established QA standards and methodologies.
- Develop robust test data management strategies to support reliable and repeatable testing.
- Establish, configure, and maintain Salesforce testing environments, including Sandboxes and Scratch Orgs.
- Participate in the development, deployment, and administration of QA processes, testing tools, and CI/CD technologies within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Design, build, and execute automated functional tests using Playwright or comparable tools, with a particular focus on Salesforce Lightning interfaces, dynamic IDs, and Shadow DOM components.
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman and validate integrations involving Salesforce REST and Bulk APIs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA practices, automation coverage, deployment processes, and release quality across the Salesforce ecosystem.
- 3+ years of professional software testing experience, including significant hands-on experience testing Salesforce applications such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Community Cloud.
- 2+ years of experience with automated functional testing tools, preferably Playwright, including experience addressing the specific challenges associated with Salesforce automation.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with a solid understanding of Salesforce security concepts such as Profiles, Permission Sets, and Sharing Rules.
- Experience with API testing using Postman, particularly Salesforce REST and Bulk APIs.
- Experience with Xray or similar test management platforms integrated with Jira.
- Practical experience working in Agile environments with frequent release cycles and Salesforce deployment processes.
- Familiarity with Salesforce DX, Copado, Flosum, or comparable CI/CD pipelines is highly valuable.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Git, combined with familiarity with Salesforce technologies such as SOQL and a basic understanding of Apex.
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator or Platform App Builder are considered strong assets.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is an asset.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with people from diverse technical and professional backgrounds.
