You’ll play a key role in Shopify Plus projects, including migrations, new builds, integrations, and ongoing optimization.
The role combines strategic thinking, technical fluency, commercial awareness, and hands-on client collaboration.
You’ll also help strengthen product management practices and contribute to a high-performing, autonomous consulting environment.
This is an opportunity to influence meaningful commerce transformation while working remotely with experienced technology professionals.
- Lead post-sale discovery sessions to understand business objectives, customer journeys, operational processes, and client needs, translating findings into clear product visions, measurable objectives, and agreed scopes.
- Partner with technical architects, solutions engineers, delivery managers, and clients to define project scope, manage trade-offs, and address change requests, timeline impacts, and commercial considerations.
- Build and maintain structured product backlogs, including epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, priorities, and dependencies.
- Own product roadmaps and prioritization for commerce migrations, new builds, and optimization initiatives, ensuring alignment between business value and delivery capacity.
- Work closely with delivery and engineering teams throughout implementation, providing product context, resolving ambiguity, protecting scope, and supporting successful sprint execution.
- Facilitate alignment and trade-off discussions across client and internal stakeholders, including senior and C-suite audiences.
- Support user acceptance testing, release readiness, and client enablement before and after launches.
- Define and monitor KPIs related to conversion, average order value, retention, scalability, operational efficiency, and overall business impact.
- Review delivered functionality with clients and identify opportunities for iterative improvements while maintaining clear scope and priorities.
- Act as a strategic product partner, helping enterprise commerce clients achieve measurable long-term value.
- Contribute to the development of product management frameworks, discovery practices, documentation standards, and delivery processes.
- Mentor colleagues in product-led and scope-driven thinking and contribute to thought leadership, case studies, and best practices within the broader practice.
- 3+ years of experience in Product Management or a comparable role such as Product Owner or Business Analyst, ideally within a brand, agency, consultancy, or similarly client-focused environment.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale digital commerce initiatives, including migrations from platforms such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento, or Hybris to modern SaaS ecosystems.
- Strong knowledge of Shopify Plus and the broader commerce technology ecosystem, including ERP, OMS, PIM, CRM, CDP, payments, APIs, and integrations.
- Experience working with enterprise stakeholders and the ability to collaborate confidently with C-suite leaders, product teams, engineering teams, and other decision-makers.
- Strong understanding of agile delivery methodologies such as Scrum or SAFe, combined with experience using product discovery frameworks.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to create clarity and alignment across complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
- Strong technical literacy, including an understanding of APIs, integrations, architecture fundamentals, and modern digital commerce infrastructure.
- Commercially minded and able to connect product decisions to ROI, business outcomes, and client value.
- Analytical and detail-oriented, with experience defining, tracking, and interpreting KPIs to measure product and business success.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments while maintaining structure, protecting scope, and driving execution.
- Experience supporting multi-market or international merchants is an advantage.
- Familiarity with CRO, experimentation, and analytics tools is a plus.
- Experience helping establish or scale a product management practice within an agency or consultancy is desirable.
- Fully Remote: Work from anywhere with a strong internet connection.
- Comprehensive Benefits: Healthcare, dental, and vision coverage, with 401(k) benefits available to U.S. employees.
