The Enrollment and Financial Analyst is an entry-level professional position that supports institutional planning and decision-making through financial, enrollment, and budget analysis. The position assists with the development of enrollment forecasts, tuition revenue projections, financial models, reports, and dashboards used to support annual and multi-year planning.

Working under the direction of the Chief University Budget Officer and in collaboration with academic and administrative partners, the Analyst will develop knowledge of the University's budgeting, enrollment, and financial planning processes while applying foundational analytical skills gained through academic coursework, internships, or other related experience.

Enrollment Forecasting and Revenue Modeling (30%)
Assist with the development and maintenance of tuition revenue and enrollment forecasts using historical data, enrollment trends, and established modeling methodologies. Prepare and validate data used to support institutional budget planning and resource allocation decisions.

Student Flow and Predictive Modeling (20%)
Support analysis of student enrollment and progression patterns, including retention, transfer, change of major, and graduation. Assist with maintaining models and conducting scenario analyses to evaluate the potential enrollment and financial impact of proposed changes.

Reporting and Dashboard Development (15%)
Assist with the preparation, development, and maintenance of standardized reports, dashboards, and other analytical tools used to monitor enrollment and financial performance. Review and validate data for accuracy and help identify trends, variances, and anomalies requiring further analysis.

Budget Support for Academic Units (15%)
Support schools and departments with budget, enrollment, revenue, and expense analysis. Assist in preparing financial information, reports, and planning tools for use during the annual budget process and other institutional planning activities

Systems and Planning Integration and Collaboration (20%)
Support the development and maintenance of enrollment and financial planning models within institutional systems. Work collaboratively with the Enterprise Budget Office and campus partners to gather information, validate data, and respond to planning and reporting needs

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Relevant academic coursework, internships, student employment, research projects, or other related experience in finance, budgeting, data analysis, accounting, economics, or a related area.
• Foundational knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, or quantitative analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the ability to organize, analyze, and interpret quantitative data.
• Ability and willingness to learn institutional financial, enrollment, and reporting systems.
• Ability to communicate financial and analytical information clearly to a variety of audiences.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across academic and administrative departments.

Additional Information:

Expected Hiring Range: $ 51,700 to $68,150

The compensation for this position will be determined based on factors that include available budget, internal equity, and the selected candidate's qualifications, experience, education, and other job-related credentials. This range represents Clark University's good-faith estimate of the expected hiring range at the time of posting consistent with Clark's compensation philosophy and internal alignment.
