Job Description

Senior Project Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Project Manager based in the United States.

This role sits at the intersection of client delivery, benefits administration, and cross-functional program execution, ensuring complex client initiatives are delivered with precision and consistency. You will lead high-impact projects tied to onboarding, operational readiness, and annual benefits cycles, directly influencing client satisfaction and retention. The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and highly client-focused, requiring strong coordination across service delivery, product, and technology teams. You will be responsible for building structure where processes are still evolving, creating scalable frameworks that improve delivery quality. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys solving operational challenges, and excels at driving alignment across multiple stakeholders. Your work will have a direct impact on service excellence, execution efficiency, and overall client experience across the organization.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead end-to-end client-facing project management initiatives within a benefits administration environment, ensuring alignment across service delivery, product, technology, and client stakeholders, while driving successful execution of onboarding, platform configuration, operational readiness, and annual enrollment activities
  • Own project planning and execution using tools such as Smartsheet and Jira, maintaining detailed timelines, dependencies, risks, and status reporting to ensure predictable delivery outcomes and strong client satisfaction
  • Drive annual enrollment and high-volume cycle initiatives by coordinating cross-functional teams, managing competing priorities, and ensuring readiness, execution, and post-cycle analysis are completed effectively
  • Identify operational gaps and build scalable processes, workflows, and reporting structures that improve consistency, reduce manual effort, and strengthen delivery performance across teams
  • Act as a key escalation point for project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication of impacts to stakeholders and leadership
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by capturing lessons learned and translating insights into process enhancements for future client engagements
Requirements:
  • 5–10 years of experience in benefits administration, benefits technology, or client-facing service delivery environments, with a strong focus on managing complex, cross-functional initiatives
  • 2–5 years of hands-on project management experience leading client-facing programs, ideally within SaaS, consulting, or healthcare/benefits operations contexts
  • Strong understanding of benefits administration workflows, service delivery models, and annual enrollment cycles, with the ability to manage time-sensitive, high-impact initiatives
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Smartsheet (strongly preferred), Jira, and similar platforms, along with familiarity in Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, align teams, and present clear recommendations based on data and operational insights
  • Strong analytical mindset, high attention to detail, and proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote, fast-paced environment
  • Experience improving operational processes, standardizing workflows, and driving execution excellence across distributed teams
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation package aligned with experience, skills, and geographic location, with potential performance-based incentives
  • Comprehensive health coverage including medical, dental, and vision plans for employees and eligible dependents
  • Remote-first work environment with flexibility to support work-life balance
  • Retirement savings programs with employer contributions to support long-term financial planning
  • Paid time off and holidays, supporting rest, recovery, and personal time
  • Professional development opportunities including training, learning resources, and career growth support
  • Employee wellbeing initiatives focused on mental health, wellness, and overall support both inside and outside of work
  • Inclusive, collaborative culture that values innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement
